Remember 2012 Obama’s “You Didn’t Build That” communist mantra? While it didn’t go over well with hard-working small-business owners struggling to stay afloat in his intentionally-anemic economy, it nevertheless didn’t keep him from winning a second term, much to the chagrin of Americans like me. Fast forward to 2016, when Trump’s Make America Great Again slogan resonated with voters even in the bluest of states, winning him an unexpected four-year term in our White House.
Why am I bringing this up? Because in case you haven’t heard, Republican musician Kid Rock, aka Robert James Ritchie, appears to be running for the United States Senate in blue-collar country, specifically Michigan, his home state:
