Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders (I-VT), a socialist, has been nibbling at frontrunner Hillary Clinton’s heels lately, drawing ever-increasing crowds, including one throng of more than 11,000 in Arizona last month.
So on Saturday, Bernie was welcomed with open arms in Seattle, one of the most liberal cities in the nation, right?
Well, no. His speech was shut down by Black Lives Matter protestors. Friends, you can’t make this stuff up.
Sanders was to be the star at a rally touting expansion of Social Security and Medicare. His appearance was preceded by a group of appreciative “Raging Grannies.”

Sanders was praising Seattle for being “one of the most progressive cities in the United States of America” when two women grabbed his microphone.
Maybe you’ve heard of the “Raging Grannies”. They’re not just a bunch of guano-loco old ladies, though they are indeed that. They are actually “social justice” activist…
