Mean Girl Jewelry Designers Throw Shade at Ivanka Trump [VIDEO]

Ivanka Trump comes from one of America’s most famous families, and her father is a controversial presidential candidate. Yet she shares one thing in common with millions of American women — she makes online purchases.

However, when most of us order from online companies, we don’t get ridiculed, particularly by the company with whom we have done business. Nor do those companies publicize our private transactions.

Ivanka Trump recently ordered an ear cuff from the jewelry line Lady Grey for the plebeian price of $84. And because company owners Jill Martinelli and Sabine La Guyader don’t particularly care for the politics of Ivanka Trump’s father, they decided to donate that tiny sum to Hillary Clinton’s campaign, along with other progressive causes.

Fine. It’s how a free market works — a product is purchased, and proceeds can be used according to the company’s wishes. No problem.

But that’s where Martinelli and La Guyader went from being supporters of liberal causes to, well, sophomoric jerks.

With Ivanka Trump’s order, they enclosed a note, which they gleefully published on Instagram. It read:

“Dear Ivanka, Thank you for your web order! We’re happy to let you know that the proceeds of your sale have been generously donated to the American Immigration Council, the Everytown for Gun Safety Organization, and the Hillary Clinton campaign. We hope you enjoy your new Lady Grey #helixcuff. Best, Sabine and Jill.”

Of course liberal fashionistas everywhere were gigging like Mean Girls about such unprofessional behavior.
