California parents are furious over a sex-ed textbook that they are slamming as graphic and inappropriate for children. Over 1000 people have signed a petition demanding the removal of “Your Health Today”, a textbook allegedly meant for college students that has been included in the Fremont Unified School District’s ninth grade curriculum.
The book, titled “Your Health Today” is almost 400 pages long and among the subject includes information on bondage, orgasms, vibrators, along with explicit drawings and diagrams.
The text also describes how to buy and use condoms and addresses masturbation, binge-drinking and shows sex organs in various stages of arousal.
“Our high-school students today need all the tools they can have to arm themselves to make the best- informed decision,” said the school district’s Board President, Lara Calvert-York. Teachers from the district unanimously chose the book to incorporate in classes.
So far, no other school district in California is using this textbook. Meanwhile, parents and students alike are uncomfortable with the images presented in the book, comparing them to pornography.
This is just another example of how liberals are taking the idea of sex education and perverting it into another way to indoctrinate children with their own depravity. Teenagers learning that sex can lead to pregnancy and STDs, along with the various methods of birth control and why condoms are important, is mostly uncontroversial. There does come a point where people need to learn where babies come from and how to avoid it, preferably with a strong emphasis on abstinence as the only way to truly avoid pregnancy or disease. Yet time and time again, we see that this is not the goal of liberals when they talk about sex ed. What reason does a teenager need to be taught about sex toys or bondage? There’s nothing educational about that, nor is it something that a 14-year-old needs to be taught. Yet liberals have shown, time and time again, that they’re not interested in educating children about sexual health. They’re interested in corrupting them.
Consider that children are being taught sex ed at younger and younger ages. Why, exactly, do kindergarteners need to learn about masturbation? Why does a nine-year-old need to learn about aphrodisiacs and “transphobia”, or abortion at 12? It’s not education, it’s indoctrination. It’s brainwashing children to approve of a perverse liberal agenda, which is why things like abortion, gender roles, and homosexuality are inevitably brought up as well. And it’s not only indoctrinating children with sick information that they have no business learning about, it’s robbing them of their childhoods.
Of course, we shouldn’t be surprised. Does anyone remember Kevin Jennings, the man who was Obama’s “safe schools” czar? Jennings founded and led the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). GLSEN had a list of recommended books for children, ages 7-12, to read. This is what Jennings, and by extension, Obama, thought these young children should be learning about:
We were unprepared for what we encountered. Book after book after book contained stories and anecdotes that weren’t merely X-rated and pornographic, but which featured explicit descriptions of sex acts between pre-schoolers; stories that seemed to promote and recommend child-adult sexual relationships; stories of public masturbation, anal sex in restrooms, affairs between students and teachers, five-year-olds playing sex games, semen flying through the air. One memoir even praised becoming a prostitute as a way to increase one’s self-esteem. Above all, the books seemed to have less to do with promoting tolerance than with an unabashed attempt to indoctrinate students into a hyper-sexualized worldview.
There was also the GLSEN conference in 2000 to 14-year-olds, which included such gems as these:
Male Teacher: … Spit versus swallowing — I don’t know about the calorie count of cum. All right. Is it rude? Let’s ask this question: Is it rude not to swallow?
Students: No! Oh, no! [Many “no’s” from the children.]
Male Teacher: No. So it’s in good bedroom etiquette … [unclear] to spit out?
Woman: Question is: What’s fisting?
Man: A little known fact is that you don’t make a fist like this. When they do it, it’s like this. This is a lot easier than this. [laughter]
Woman: You work your way up to it… [unclear] one finger, two fingers, three fingers … Some people can take a hand, or they can’t take a hand.
Spitting vs. swallowing, anal fisting, statutory rape, pedophilia, public masturbation — this is what was being pushed onto children by the man Obama chose to be his safe schools czar. Even after Jennings left the Obama administration, schools continued to force this kind of literature onto children.
There’s also Live Action’s newest undercover investigation series, in which Planned Parenthood counselors are found, in multiple clinics across the country, encouraging 15-year-old girls to experiment with BDSM, asphyxiation play, being tied up and beaten, torture sex, defecation, and more. Far from being disturbed by this, though, liberals have come out in force to defend this depravity. If a teenager is curious about sex, why shouldn’t they be told about things like being pooped on and tortured? You’ve got leading feminists like Jessica Valenti writing books about how putting out is better for girls than abstinence. Hook-ups and casual sex are great and healthy; remaining abstinent is creepy and messes girls up.
Why should we really be surprised to hear that near pornographic material is being peddled to ninth graders, then? Liberals have been working at this for years. But what children likely won’t be taught is how damaging a lifestyle of promiscuity and experimentation can be. As it stands now, one out of every four sexually active teenagers has an STD, meaning an insane 8,000 teenagers get an STD daily. 2/3rds of teenage girls who have sex end up regretting it, and teenagers who have sex are more likely to become suicidal or depressed. Teenage mothers are more likely to live in poverty and become dependent on welfare. But will these sex ed classes teach teenagers any of this? No, it’s all if it feels good, just do it!, and experimenting is healthy and normal!, and it’s unrealistic to expect yourself to not have sex early. We’re conditioning our children to believe that they have absolutely zero control over their physical urges, that we’re no better than animals, and that it’s unrealistic to try to control yourself — and at the same time, giving them absolutely no information about the potential repercussions. Sleep around, kids, it’ll be fun! And oh yeah, sorry about that scorching case of herpes you got that you’re stuck with forever.
So pay attention, parents. What kind of depraved information are your kids being force-fed in their schools?
