The largest, by population, military installation in the United States Fort Bragg, North Carolina is now Fort Liberty, North Carolina. The home of the 82nd Airborne, 18th Airborne Corps and Special Operations Command outside of Fayetteville no longer bears the name of a Confederate General. The base has been purged of every mention.
