North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un had two missions this past weekend. First, he wanted to celebrate the 105th anniversary of his grandfather Kim Il-Sung’s birth with a display of military power. Second, he wanted to show off that power while American warships approached North Korea, and also while Vice President Mike Pence was visiting South Korea.

So what better way for Kim to display his strength than with a Big Parade:

Where he could also show off his Really Big Missile, the “Frankenmissile.” It’s a mashup of two types of intercontinental missiles.

Then, his brainwashed subjects could enjoy a little Dance Party in honor of the evil Dear Leader’s evil grandfather:

Finally, the tubby tyrant decided to cap off the festivities with a good old-fashioned missile launch. However, it didn’t go as planned.
