Gosnell’s Sister-in-Law Ground Up Babies in Disposal, Gets Probation

For aiding and abetting monster and convicted murderer, Kermit Gosnell, who received two life sentences for murder, on Tuesday Gosnell’s sister-in law, Elizabeth Hampton, received a stiff penalty for her crimes: one year of probation. In exchange for a light sentence on perjury charges only, Ms. Hampton agreed to testify against her former boss, describing how she helped “clean up” Kermit Gosnell’s clinic by illegally dumping blood and fetal remains from first-trimester abortions into a garbage disposal, where they were ground up and washed down the drain. She also described witnessing Gosnell snipping the neck of a live infant using surgical scissors, ending its life. And no, she didn’t go to authorities after witnessing infanticide.

During Tuesday’s sentencing, Hampton begged for forgiveness for her crimes, which included illegally administering Demerol to a patient who later died.  She also described the monetary bonuses she received: in addition to her hourly cash rate of ten dollars, Hampton received a bonus of twenty dollars for each second trimester abortion completed during her work shift. Such is the going rate for ending a priceless human life.

After spending two years under house arrest, on Wednesday Gosnell’s wife, Pearl, who also assisted in illegal late term abortions alongside her husband, received a sentence of seven to twenty-three months in prison.

In the meantime, Arizona’s ban on abortions after twenty weeks was struck down by a Federal Court.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday that the law violates a string of U.S. Supreme Court rulings starting with Roe v. Wade that guarantees a woman’s right to an abortion before a fetus is able to survive outside the womb. That’s generally considered to be about 24 weeks. Normal pregnancies run about 40 weeks

Several states have enacted similar bans starting at 20 weeks. But the 9th Circuit’s ruling is binding only in the nine Western states under the court’s jurisdiction. Idaho is the only other Western state covered by the 9th Circuit with a similar ban.

I don’t know about you, but I have little forgiveness in my heart for those who take the lives of the innocent, for twenty bucks no less, legal or not. Ms. Hampton will have to live with herself, with the crimes she committed upon the most helpless, for the remainder of her life, a choice she did not award the infants she ground up and flushed down the sink like nothing more than day-old leftovers. Too bad her remaining years will not be spent in a cell adjacent to her sociopathic former boss. Infanticide runs in their family.
