History teacher and Pico Rivera council member Gregory Salcido has been removed from all his committee assignments after he accosted a student in his class wearing a Marine Corps sweatshirt and was recorded denigrating our armed forces in a froth-flecked rant. While he cannot be removed from the governing body, because there were apparently enough moron voters who elected him to serve there, and it will be up to them to boot him, Salcido’s story doesn’t end there.
