You might be reading this and thinking, Who the heck is Kaylee Munson?. Don’t worry. So was I. Well, here she is:
Kaylee Munson is a cheerleader for the Minnesota Vikings, and earlier this month, she may have said the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard come out of a cheerleader’s mouth. According to her, the training she undergoes as an NFL cheerleader is tougher than — are you ready? — that of a Marine. Seriously. This chick thinks she’s in better shape than a Marine.
“A lot of people hear ‘cheerleader’ and think pageant girl or bimbo, but we are so different than that. This is the hardest workout I’ve ever done in my life. On game days we’re moving for three hours straight — dancing every break and trying to get the crowd involved. As part of our military performance tours, I’ve worked out with the Navy and Marines and those were all tough workouts but, no offense guys, I have to say that our cheerleading workouts are harder!”
Now, maybe as a cheerleader she is just as tough as a sailor. (I kid, I kid.) In all seriousness, is this girl for real? She thinks she works harder than these guys? Check out these three videos, where Marines go against UFC fighters and kick their asses.
Heck, even forget that. There is no way an NFL cheerleader, no matter how fit, could last a day as a Marine. I’d love to see this bimbo go with my husband and his Marines on one of their ruck runs — which usually average somewhere between 3 miles on an easy day and 10 miles on a hard day — in full boots and utes. Those rucksacks? They can weight up to over 100lbs. Then after that, she’d maybe have to run a PFT and then a CFT (physical fitness test and combat fitness test, respectively), by the end of which I’m pretty sure she’d be either crying or vomiting. Or maybe both.
I mean, really… how deluded must a girl be to think she’s more fit than a Marine? Sure, she’s got some nice abs and looks hot in her cheerleading uniform. But get real — she can’t hold a candle to these guys.
