The notorious Al Qaeda backed magazine, Inspire, is encouraging independent terrorist attacks on U.S.economic leaders, including Bill Gates, Michael Bloomberg, and Warren Buffett.
The list in the online magazine also included industrialist brothers Charles and David Koch, internet entrepreneur Larry Ellison, and casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, as well as Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and one of the heirs to the Wal-Mart fortune, Jim Walton.
The article begins with a photo showing blood-spattered pictures of several of the leaders next to a dripping gun, and its stated goal is to derail the “revival of the American Economy.”
The article says that the wealthy entrepreneurs on the hit list will be removed if they remove all of their money from U.S. banks, invest their wealth outside of the U.S., and denounce support of Israel.
Evan Kohlmann of Flashpoint Intelligence said that much of the magazine’s content is “somewhat aspirational,” but he added that Inspire has played a role in actual terrorist plots.
