Antifa issues “hit list” and, SURPRISE

… Someone gets, you know, hit.

As Democratic leaders like Rep. Dan Goldman (D, N.Y.) insist that Antifa does not exist as a group, two Antifa groups — Front Range Antifa and Colorado Springs Antifa — put out a hit list poster on a University of Colorado sophomore and leader in Turning Point USA. He was promptly attacked by a person in the signature Antifa black outfit on roller blades who used a hockey stick to mete out the punishment.

According to a press release, Boulder Police are looking for a suspect accused of attacking a 19-year-old Turning Point USA student leader near the University of Colorado, Boulder on Thursday evening. The attacker is suspected to be an Antifa member and to have followed the victim in the premeditated attack.

“Ideas” don’t usually wield hockey sticks.

There’s nothing so expensive than “free stuff” from the government

One must remember that Obama and other Socialist Democrats never, ever, designed ObamaCare to actually work …

The focus of the current government shutdown circus has increasingly narrowed to Democrat demands to undo proposed reductions in very large, supposedly temporary, Covid-era Obamacare (Affordable Care Act) subsidy boosts. A major part of their public push is the claim that they are trying to save citizens money, though what they are actually demanding is that we shift the burden to future generations via increased federal debt, backed by the threat of demonizing Republicans as heartless for taking away any benefits. They emphasize the need to maintain the “great deal” the ACA offered.

The problem with their emphasis was revealed by a recent Washington Post editorial that admitted that “The real problem is that the Affordable Care Act [Obamacare] was never actually affordable,” because “policies cost more than expected.” The Post cited the assumption that “risk pools would be bigger than they turned out to be” for the gap between the Act’s name and reality. However, the fact is that “higher than expected costs” were actually expected by ACA’s architects, but were intentionally misrepresented to make a sow’s ear look more like a silk purse to voters.

Yet, many of us knew from the beginning that Obamacare was designed to fail. It was rushed through, with no debate allowed, and passed with not one GOP vote. Now the Democrats have been waiting for it to implode so they can demand nationalized healthcare along the lines of Canada or the UK.

And we know how wonderfully successful those programs are, eh?

I had the privilege of visiting Notre Dame in 2001. It took my breath away, even as it was dark from centuries of candle. The restoration after the fire could have gone so horrible wrong, but this video is beyond anything many expected. It has survived almost 800 years. Let’s pray it survives as a Christian Cathedral another 800 years.
