Starbucks Union Employees Support Palestine

I am absolutely gobsmacked. I always check to see what we Victory Girls have written about a subject in the past to see if there is anything helpful. There always is, but in this case it is absolutely stunning. Five and a half years ago, our Lisa wrote an article titled “Starbucks: When Political Correctness and Progressive Agendas Backfire”. This article today could have had the same title and the older Lisa article is a perfect exemplar of how we got here. Starbucks Corporate has got their pettipants in a wad because the employees’ unions are support Hamas and Palestine. Reap/sow.

To be perfectly honest, I have tried Starbucks coffee about 10 times in my life. It always tasted burned and, of course, it’s overpriced. I am a simple girl; I like brewed Folgers. I am not fancy like that. I never did get the buzz about the company, their coffee or their pastries which were dry and tasteless.

As to their employees, Lord help me Jesus. Baristas, puh-leeze. To paraphrase Les Grossman in one of my favorite movies “Tropic Thunder”, a “nutless monkey” could do their jobs. Their jobs are so intellectually challenging and physically demanding it’s almost like when the coalminers voted union. Almost exactly like that. The Art History majors who probably lead this group of rebels think that they are so stunning, so brave. That’s why we shouldn’t be surprised that these towering intellectuals support Palestine and Hamas.

The people slaughtered at an Israeli rave or in a Kibbutz deserve no notice from the Starbucks crew. It’s easy for the baristas to stick up for Hamas and Palestine, isn’t it. The baristas sleep safely in their beds or attend peace raves because of the law enforcement and military personnel out there standing a post. Fools.

Corporate Starbucks, who in past times loved Progressive causes is not well pleased with the employees who support the baby beheading crew:

Last week, the Free Beacon reported that Starbucks Workers United expressed “Solidarity with Palestine!” in deleted social media posts. The union’s chapters in Iowa, Chicago, and Boston promoted rallies in support of Hamas attacks on Israel, including a “Long Live Palestinian Resistance” rally in Boston. The union’s backing of a terrorist attack that killed more than 1,200 Israelis drew widespread condemnation, including calls from Sen. Rick Scott (R., Fla.) to boycott the coffee giant over the union’s stance.

But Starbucks says it vehemently rejects the union’s support for Hamas and is now demanding Starbucks Workers United “immediately cease and desist” from using the company’s name and logo. Starbucks said the union’s statements “advocat[ed] for violence” and caused “irreparable harm” to the company.

“Starbucks does not support your organization’s position,” Starbucks counsel Rocky C. Tsai wrote to Lynne Fox, the international president of Workers United, which oversees the Starbucks union. “This matter must be resolved immediately. If it is not, we will seek all appropriate legal relief, including without limitation monetary damages.”

Legal action would seem like a good start. A little late, perhaps, but a start. Check out this video from The Quartering. Watch at least the first minute of this spot-on Starbucks ad.

Corporate tried to put out their own messages, but too little, too late. The unions and workers don’t speak for Corporate Starbucks:

“In times like these, it is essential that we remember what makes us Starbucks partners, and that we lean on our shared value of belonging. Let us remember that our strength lies in our ability to support one another with empathy and understanding, irrespective of our backgrounds and experiences. Together, we can continue to cultivate a safe and welcoming workplace where everyone feels heard, valued and included.”

Laxman Narasimhan, ceo

As a leadership team, we want to again express our deepest sympathy for those who have been killed, wounded, displaced and impacted following the heinous acts of terror, escalating violence and hate against the innocent in Israel and Gaza this week. Starbucks unequivocally condemns acts of hate, terrorism and violence.

Sara Kelly, evp and chief partner officer

Normies don’t really rally for a boycott. We just don’t buy a product anymore. The folks at Starbucks should have thought about that at least five years ago. And, Corporate and the Baristas should remember about nutless monkeys.

I’m waiting for Colon Kaepernick to chime in with a pro-Hamas screed. I’m sure Nike will back him and put him on a new poster. Good luck, Starbucks. Bud Light saved you seat.

Is that anything like “getting one’s knickers in a knot”? Anyway, I’m not going to start going to Starbucks just so I can then boycott them. And I do agree that those who go to Starbucks are snobs paying too much for what they could get cheaper and just as good or better at Dunkin’ Donuts.

I haven’t bought anything from Starbucks
since they donated to the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. A bunch of paste eating progressive morons.
