Can’t back up your argument? Just throw a punch. That’s the strategy now. The woman who assaulted pro-life YouTuber Savannah Craven Antao is Brianna Rivers. Although she issued a so-called “apology,” she continues to blame Savannah for provoking her into violence. When the facts don’t support you, apparently, the fists fly.
By now, you’ve probably seen the quick clip floating all over social media, and it is making the rounds on all the Fox News shows. As of now, major networks such as NBC, CBS, ABC, and CNN have not reported on the assault of pro-life activist Savannah Craven Antao. The coverage has been primarily from outlets like the New York Post, Fox News, and international media.

While Brianna Rivers acknowledged that resorting to violence was wrong when questioned about Planned Parenthood, her apology rings hollow, as she continues to blame the woman she punched for provoking the attack.
The woman who socked a pro-life reporter in the face during a filmed interview offered an apology Saturday — but claimed her “antagonistic” victim goaded her into violence.
Brianna Rivers, of the Bronx, admitted she was wrong for slugging Savannah Craven Antao, a reporter for pro-life advocacy group Live Action.
“To Savannah, I sincerely apologize but cannot sit around and allow you to continue pushing this one sided narrative. I understand hands being put on someone is never the answer, but throwing rocks and hiding hands is worse,” Rivers wrote in a Facebook post.
“She knows the truth and she needs to release the footage in its entirety. Savannah is a professional antagonist not a ‘reporter’ and the truth will be told.”
Rivers shared a note accusing Craven Antao of intentionally antagonizing her during their man-on-the-street interview in Harlem, in which Craven Antao repeatedly cut the pro-choice Rivers off while she spoke.
Rivers also accused Craven Antao of editing the footage to remove what she called “relentless antagonization” and the moments leading up to the sucker punch. – New York Post
First, let’s address the accusation that Rivers got goaded into sucker-punching Savannah due to her relentless antagonism throughout the interview. Here’s the full video—or at least what they’re presenting as the full version. Yes, it’s edited. At the end, you can hear Savannah mention they’d been talking for 20 minutes beforehand and everything seemed fine. Someone with a big YouTube presence is absolutely going to edit their content for better viewer experience. I seriously doubt Savannah cut anything egregious out.
The interview seemed to be going okay at first—two women with differing opinions, each trying to make their point. But after a while, Rivers started to come off as unhinged, flailing her arms and eventually admitting she believed kids in foster care should be murdered.
When Rivers started to get agitated, instead of walking away, she leaned in harder, trying to drive her point home—then decided to physically attack Savannah. Watching the video, it really did seem to come out of nowhere. It looked like Rivers got backed into a corner with facts, and instead of agreeing to disagree, she decided that violence was okay.
Honestly, take a few minutes and watch the video. It could be used in classrooms as a case study on how quickly the Left can unravel when they realize they don’t have a solid argument.
Just recently, our very own Victory Girl Darleen pointed out how the Left’s violence is becoming more common—and somehow acceptable. It’s not just the fringe anymore. When they can’t win the argument, they turn to chaos, intimidation, or flat-out violence. This is where “progress” has landed them.
From Democrat politicians to organized thugs on college campuses, they are making clear that being rejected at the ballot box is unacceptable. And if they don’t get their way, any violence done is all our fault for not obeying.
We’ve covered the broken-brained, career Democrat bomb-throwers and agitators for years. While some of it has been over-heated rhetoric, actual harassment and violence have grown in response to Democrats like Maxine Waters and Jasmine Crockett. And it has primed the putrid pump of neo-Marxist hoodie thugs into committing open assault, assured of their own impunity over criminal behavior.
The New York Post writer seems to align with the attacker in her writing as she states that Rivers seemed provoked into hysterics and practically calls the pro-life YouTuber a bully.
The conservative influencer — who posts various videos shaming and making fun of progressive women — is now nursing a black eye, two stitches below her eyebrow, significant pain in her nasal area and a heavy psychological burden, she told The Post.
It’s troubling that the Left, in particular, has made violence seem not just acceptable, but even justifiable in certain situations. As for Savannah Craven Antao, she’s left to deal with both the physical and emotional scars of an attack that never should have happened. The question remains: when will we see a stop to this trend of silencing opponents with force instead of facts? Until then, we’ll continue to witness the unraveling of any sense of civil discourse.

When enough of them start getting killed for it and nothing is done to the normal people that are protecting themselves.
I hope she’s filed a police report against this bratty liberal.
Retrospective abortion on demand for Rivers?
Stay strapped… that’s the only reasonable response…
