Question(s):
What is your favorite kind of cookie?
Coke or Pepsi?
Who is the Democrat you respect most in the last 25 years?
Do or don’t: can I wear my chucks with a skirt and tights on my date Thursday (the chucks are black, like the tights)? It’s our third date and will be pretty casual, and he’s a little short, so I don’t want to tower over him. You’d be breaking a tie. My bestie says OK, my mom says ridiculous.
I don’t really have a favorite kind of cookie. I think the best cookie recipe I have, though, is for chocolate chip cookies. I don’t want to give the entire thing away, but they key is that you use brown sugar instead of granulated sugar. You can even put some marshmallow fluff between two of the cookies and make a little S’more sandwich.
I am definitely a Coke girl. I drink Pepsi if that’s the only choice, but given the option I will always choose Coke.
The Democrat I’ve respected most over the past 25 years would have to be John F. Kennedy Jr.
As far as the Chucks go… I don’t know that I’m really one for fashion advice, but I’ll try. I don’t know where you live, but if it were me and I wanted to wear a skirt, I’d be wearing sandals, no tights. I pretty much live in flip-flops as it is, but with a skirt, I’d get some cute, casual sandals with a low heel. Comfortable for you yet still sexy, and also will prevent the whole height issue. The heel will help a lot, even though it isn’t a large heel. It helps define the muscles in your legs, helps with posture, and all around makes you look better. Heels are great. Wearing sandals instead of sneakers will help elongate your legs. But again, I don’t know where you live, so weather may not permit that! Hope that helps at all. I am definitely not a fashion pro.
Hey, thanks for the answers! I’m a Coke girl, too. Diet, these days, which I now prefer over regular.
I’m in Ohio, where it’s cold as eff right now. Tights are going to be required so I don’t freeze. They would anyway, because the dress really works so much better with them. I can’t fathom tights with sandals, so I’m gonna bite the bullet and go with the chucks. I’m hoping people will think I’m fashionable edgy!
Oh, and my favorite Democrat from the last 25 is the late Governor Casey of Pennsylvania. He fought the good pro-life fight in the party for years. The 1992 SC case where O’Connor (and Kennedy) sold out is Planned Parenthood vs. Casey.
