Providence, Rhode Island just spat in the face of every American who still believes in what this country stands for. City Hall has announced it will raise the palestinian flag over the capital in the name of “diversity” and “inclusion.” That’s not just a tone-deaf stunt—it’s a disgrace.
Rhode Island city agrees to fly Palestinian flag at its City Hall: ‘It’s a slap in the face to every patriot’ https://t.co/xXJRqxIGtA

Let me be crystal clear: palestine is not a country.
It never has been. In the modern era, “palestine” has morphed into a brand—a global grievance movement wrapped in keffiyehs, drenched in victimhood, and weaponized for political theater. It doesn’t just flirt with anti-Semitism, anti-Americanism, and jihad—it embodies them.
So when you hoist that flag over City Hall, you’re not supporting “diversity.” You’re not being inclusive. You’re endorsing a narrative soaked in hatred, violence, and the glorification of terrorism.
Providence, Rhode Island, officials have accepted a request to fly the Palestinian flag Friday at City Hall in the state’s capital.
City officials emphasized that no American flags are being displaced by the display, adding there have been several other flags raised over the government office in the past.
“Providence City Hall displays many different flags throughout the year to mark different occasions and honor the many ethnic and cultural backgrounds and traditions that make our city strong,” a spokesperson for Providence City Council told Fox News Digital Wednesday.
The spokesperson added the city has also flown the Dominican flag, Irish flag, Armenian flag and the Israeli flag in recent months. – New York Post
Providence officials insist they aren’t taking down the American flag. Fine. But if the Stars and Stripes are still flying, and you feel compelled to add another flag “for inclusion,” what you’re really saying is: America’s flag isn’t enough for you anymore.
Old Glory already represents every citizen—regardless of race, religion, or heritage. It stands for liberty, justice, and the promise that you can live free from tyranny. That should be enough. But for the diversity-obsessed political class, it never is.
Instead, Providence is hoisting a flag that doesn’t represent coexistence—it represents the exact opposite. Its champions chant for intifada, celebrate terror attacks, and despise the very freedoms this country stands for. The palestinian flag isn’t some innocent cultural symbol—it’s been weaponized. It’s the go-to emblem for Hamas rallies and campus mobs screaming for “intifada.” It doesn’t unite—it divides. And the people of Providence deserve to know exactly what’s being flown over their heads in the name of “inclusion.”
Victory Girl Deanna wonders if academia is finally waking up to the anti-Semitic rot festering on campuses. It’s a good question—especially when you see cities like Providence rolling out the red carpet for the same twisted ideology.
Mayor Brett Smiley claims this is to “bring communities together.” Tell that to the Jewish community. Tell it to veterans. Tell it to every American taxpayer who didn’t vote for their city to cozy up to a foreign political movement with a body count.
And don’t come at me with “well, 147 out of 193 United Nations countries recognize palestine as a sovereign state.”
I don’t give a flying flip.
Recognition by the UN doesn’t make it right. North Korea is a UN member too—should we raise that flag next time in the name of “diversity”?
The United States does not recognize palestine as a sovereign country for good reason: because real statehood comes from real negotiations, not emotional blackmail and terrorist PR.
Somewhere along the way, parts of this country forgot what the melting pot actually means. It’s not about flying the flags of every grievance movement on Earth. It’s not about hoisting foreign symbols over City Hall to score virtue points. The American experiment works because it unites people under one flag—not a patchwork of imported politics and tribal allegiances.
The palestinian flag does not represent a recognized country.
It does not stand for peace.
It stands for rage, grievance, and the glorification of “resistance”—even when that resistance involves the slaughter of innocent lives.
And now it’s flying over an American city, again.
Providence isn’t alone in this madness. Cities like Worcester, Fresno, Paterson, and even Chicago have all raised the palestinian flag under the guise of “solidarity” or “free speech.” But let’s not kid ourselves—this isn’t cultural celebration. It’s political theater. A growing number of American cities are using public spaces, funded by American taxpayers, to elevate the flag of a non-country tied to decades of terrorism and anti-Western ideology. They say it’s to “honor heritage.” I say it’s to signal exactly how far they’ve drifted from what the American flag is supposed to represent: one nation, indivisible, not a collection of civic soapboxes hoisting whatever banner gets the loudest applause on social media.

If Providence, Rhode Island raises that flag it should (will) be considered over run by terrorist and Martial law declared. This isn’t innocent behavior, they are gathering their courage and will start killing to make a point.
