We had a BLAST at the Jacksonville Tax Day tea Party. We had two great emcees in Chris Nwasike and Tim Owen. We had fabulous speakers, aside from myself of course, such as retired sailor TJ Welsh, CEO Jay Fant, neurologist Dr. Jim Nealis, CEO Rick Scott, and more. There was music, a freedom forum, symbolic dumping of tea into the St. John’s River by children wearing adorable “I’m too young to be in debt” t-shirts, and tons of entertainment. The weather was beautiful, and around 5,000 people turned out to make their voices heard.
Anyway, here are some pictures from the event below the jump, including one of yours truly. More pictures and video to come.
So this is not indoctrination? This looks like parents bringing their children to a political rally. Not that I think truly that there is anything wrong with this; American parents raising their children with the values they believe. But I look back at the post from 10/15/08 about the kids in Seattle, and wonder where the difference lies.
I think the basic difference is the children at the tea parties would actually be protesting the debt Obama et al are trying to burden them and likely their children with. I say those kids have every right to be educated about the US government mortgaging their future. Wouldn’t you want your child educated (not indoctrinated)?
