Not exactly shocking from the mainstream media. She’s just another liberal spouting liberal drivel, determinedly ignoring the indisputable fact that yes, even now, nine years after 9-11, with Obama in office, they still want to kill us.
As to why such a blathering moron still has a job in the media, that should be rather obvious, even to a chick like me.
There’s a difference between thinking all Muslims want us dead, and being shocked when we find one that wants us dead. I believe this person has gone way off the deep end… May those of us who know better remain in power, so we can protect those like her who are incapable of protecting themselves.

On the Friday after September 11th, I had a pre-planned date to go to a middle eastern restaurant. The venue, which was usually only sparsely populated even at lunch was PACKED with liberals. The Arabic classes filled up the next semester. The following year the student body elected a shawled muslim girl as president of the student senate.
During the 80s, the leftists packed into Russsian classes. In the 90s, China was en vogue. This decade, it’s all about muslims.
Liberals identify our enemies and do everything they can to demonstrate sympathy for them.

I think many of them do want us dead (certainly not a majority, but a large minority do). I think many more want the West to become muslim. And no, I don’t trust them all that much.
