actually, after some business, i went to arlington and watched a military funeral from afar and cried my makeup off. i went to the holocaust museum for solidarity — and because its a place i have always deeply loved. and i went to the national museum of art because i love the byzantine art there and wanted to covet some of it. oh and i laughed at the bleakness of the chinese embassy among all of the gorgeous federal style and georgian mansions of the other countries. i didn’t go to the white house. i had no bloody dolls or bombs. and i wasn’t mugged.
some of you really take the cake.

So by your logic Pennie – Kate would deserve to be raped if she dressed in a low-cut blouse and a short skirt.
Kate expresses her opinion – she doesn’t openly insult people by calling them bitches and telling them deserve to get mugged.
What Kate does is not even close to how the left treated former President Bush for the past 8 years. She doesn’t wish death on anyone, she doesn’t wish illness or tragedy on people she disagrees with. She merely shares her opinion.

Micky – it is interesting isn’t it. As soon as Obama was elected it’s like the last 8 years didn’t happen, in terms of commentary and opinion-sharing. It was OK to wish death on Tony Snow, but it’s not OK to even question something Obama has said or plans to do.
