Saturday was a beautiful spring day, a nice way to start the Palm Sunday weekend, marking the start of Holy Week. There’s also Passover to note starting on April 2nd.

But first, a bunch of Leftist Boomer theater kids needed to be seen in yet another weird moment combining 1932 Groucho Marx with 1973 Steven Sondheim … Such is the spectacle of “No Kings”

The American political left as a cultural formation, and the Democratic Party as an institution, have sunk into a style of oppositionalism that contains no opposition. They speak in a vernacular of protest because they speak in a vernacular of protest, out of habit and as a cultural identity, but they have no idea what they’re protesting. They’re very angry about the, you know, stuff. Something something Trump something something.

Yep, it’s today’s thing. Even if Obama and Biden were doing the thing, that was (d)ifferent. When Trump does the thing, all the Better People are, of course, against the thing. And if Trump suddenly stops doing the thing, then all the Better People will naturally be for it.

In the words of Professor Wagstaff, I don’t know what they have to say, it makes no difference anyway. Whatever it is, I’m against it. No matter what it is or who commenced it, I’m against it. I mean, come on now! THIS is the average AWFL “No Kings” cosplayer who needs to be seen cuz of feelz and with nothing of substance to say.

And Jake Tapper has the audacity to pretend to not to know why ICE officers wear masks?

Democrats were for border enforcement under Clinton and Obama, but the idea of stomping to the curb the uppity citizens who dared to elect Trump in 2016 was just too delicious during Obama’s third term, so the borders were opened. Not only were communities inundated with illegals straining or breaking resources, but it increased the shadow infrastructure of money-laundering NGOs and the fraud rampant in migrant communities in places like Minnesota and California.

There is no fury like a Deep State operative who loses their grift. You want to see the real ‘Kings’? It’s the unelected Mandarin class with their hands on the administrative rules and regulations.

A secure America is unacceptable to the Left, because dismantling America itself has been the dream of the Left for decades. It’s why they’ve made common cause with Islamofascist groups, harassing and attacking Jews on college campuses. That’s why they protest the deportation of violent criminal illegal aliens and make excuses for murder by illegals by blaming the victim.

And still, the basic anti-Americanism of No Kings just doesn’t seem to register with the fading Boomer cosplayers who showed up on a nice spring day in 2026, secure in the knowledge that — unlike the IslamoNazi regime of Iran they side with — the worst that will happen while they wave, chant what they are told, and shake their saggy booties, is being mocked rather than slaughtered in the street.
