Effective:

I like the one-on-one feel of the ad. I like the straight talk. I like the barbs at Biden and Obama. Joe the Plumber might just be the death knell for Obama’s campaign, and McCain is clearly indicating that he isn’t going to let the issue die. Senator Government was a good nickname for Obama, and it’s something McCain needs to stick to. Let Sarah Palin be the pitbull who attacks Sen. Gov’t on lesser issues (although McCain needs to stand behind her on those attacks). This is the future of our country at stake here, and it seems like McCain is finally ready to fight for it.

Last night’s debate was not a game-changer in and of itself, but if McCain’s campaign sticks to the tone and message of last night’s debate, it will change the direction this election is going. It isn’t too late for McCain to win, if only he’s willing to fight for it. And if this ad is any indication, he is.
