Mouthy, Bully Reacher Actor Puts Needed Beatdown On Neighbor

Alan Ritchson, the mouthy, bully Reacher action actor, put a needed beatdown on his neighbor but in front of his sons. Needed in that the neighbor made a stupid move, but the action actor made the move in front of his two sons. Pitiful, trifling men, the both of them.

Some of you will read that first paragraph and think, “Who cares? Actor-types are going to think they are all that.” Granted, but this was in Nashville, the Brentwood suburb. It is pretty posh. The kind of place one would think where nice people lived and raised families. Violence and bullies are every where.

Ritchson is a mouthy bully, but his neighbor was a fool. We are blessed because Ritchson had a body cam or helmet cam and also several other neighbors caught the action with their cameras. The actor has been on my radar as a jerk for about a year when I sampled Season One of his Reacher Amazon Prime streamer. It was insultingly STOOPID, and I need an hour or so of stupid television before I go to sleep. This show was insufferable. I later found out why:

The mouthy, bully actor is insufferable:

And he’s an outspoken Christian who dislikes many other members of his religious tribe.

“Christians today have become the most vitriolic tribe. It is so antithetical to what Jesus was calling us to be and to do,” Ritchson told The Hollywood Reporter in a wide-ranging interview last month.

Ritchson’s new comments about Christians will not surprise those who follow his YouTube channel, InstaChurch.

There, in between Bible studies and reflections on why God wants you to smile, Ritchson sometimes calls out his fellow Christians, arguing that they get fired up about all the wrong things.

“It’s funny to me how a lot of people criticize me, supposed Christians especially, criticize me for playing Reacher. As if the only TV that should exist is seeing people silently folding their hands in the pew of a church,” Ritchson said in a January video about why it’s OK for Christian actors to portray sinful characters, as the Deseret News previously reported.

As if. From The List, here is more:

“I’m a Christian quite simply because of what Jesus calls us to do. Love other people until death. It doesn’t mean we’re all to be hung on a cross, but how can I suffer for you? That is a beautiful thing,” Ritchson told the Hollywood Reporter in April 2024. When sharing his religious beliefs, however, the star finds it important to clarify how, contrary to what many people’s believe, Trump is totally misaligned with the teachings of Christianity in his eyes. “Trump is a rapist and a con man, and yet the entire Christian church seems to be treat him like he’s their poster child and it’s unreal. I don’t understand it,” he explained, adding, “Christians today have become the most vitriolic tribe. It is so antithetical to what Jesus was calling us to be and to do.”

Yeah, that sounds like a lawsuit to me. The bully sounds a little roidy to me. He lives in an upscale neighborhood, most likely with a HOA. The Independent picks up the narrative:

The footage, which comes from Ritchson’s own camera, shows the 43-year-old actor’s perspective as he rides his green Kawasaki motorcycle through a suburban neighborhood in Brentwood, Tennessee.

A neighbor, who has been identified by TMZ as Ronnie Taylor, can be seen stepping into the road to block Ritchson. After stopping his bike, Ritchson can be heard saying: “Are you f***ing kidding me, bro?” and appears to push Taylor to the ground.

Taylor gets up and points his finger in Ritchson’s face, accusing him of “driving around this neighborhood like a f***ing lunatic!”

Two of Ritchson’s sons can also be seen on motorcycles, stopped watching the altercation play out.

When Ritchson attempts to drive away, Taylor appears to push him off his bike. This leads to a physical fight, as Ritchson knocks Taylor to the ground and says: “Are you f***ing out of your goddamn mind?” and then instructs him to: “Stay down!”

Taylor needed and deserved the beatdown. Don’t jump in front of a motorcycle. Call the Homeowner’s Association and the local law enforcement. These are most likely public streets and those kids look unlicensed to me. Also, if you are a Dad don’t beatdown the neighbor in front of the whole neighborhood.

Neighbor don’t mouth off to your bully, roidy looking neighbor. The HOAs aren’t good for much but when someone is speeding or making a noise problem, let the HOA know.
