During a campaign event in Iowa, Marco Rubio decided to throw the pigskin around with a little boy named Brody Dill. Unfortunately, the 4 year-old failed to catch the football, and his head took the brunt instead. The video quickly began making rounds on Twitter, and little Brody Dill became a star overnight.
.
Maybe he was channeling Peyton Manning?
However, what started as a cringe-worthy event turned ridiculously adorable. First up, Marco’s response to ESPN – which was perfect!
This pass from presidential candidate Marco Rubio wasn't terrible … but it sure didn't end well for the receiver: http://t.co/fKm4WmF6W3

And now little Brody, the nephew of Rubio’s Iowa Presidential Campaign chairman, had a few words to say.
It will be 14 years until Brody Dill will be old enough to vote. But next time Marco Rubio is campaigning in Iowa, it’s a safe bet he will be paying Dill a visit.
Rubio tossed a football to Dill on Monday in Iowa. The results, were, er, less than optimal. On Wednesday, Dill, the nephew of Rubio’s Iowa presidential campaign chairman, had a message for the Florida senator: “Hey, Rubio! When you get back to Iowa, I’ll be ready for you Rubio!”
The little guy seems to have survived!

Yep. He’s adorable.
“Hey Rubio,” Brody Dill says in a fresh video posted online Wednesday afternoon. “When you come back to Iowa, I’ll be ready for you. Rubio.”
Election season can often be maddening, stressful, and a little overwhelming. The breaks in the heated exchanges can be a nice change, especially if they give you the chance to laugh. But next time, let’s avoid hitting kids with footballs, okay guys?
As Dad used to say, “Nice hands, Feet!”.
