Elias Rodriguez had a message—and he made sure the world heard it. The DC Jewish Museum shooter wasn’t some unhinged drifter or random extremist. He was a 30-year-old leftist activist from Chicago who shouted “Free Palestine” as he gunned down two Israeli embassy staffers, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, outside the Capital Jewish Museum. This wasn’t a protest. It wasn’t about peace. It was a politically motivated assassination. And it happened in broad daylight, on American soil.
The suspected terrorist busted for fatally shooting two Israeli Embassy staffers has ties to a radical left-wing group that spearheaded Black Lives Matter protests and fiercely advocates on behalf of Palestinians.
Elias Rodriguez, 31, allegedly confessed to gunning down the couple outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC, late Wednesday, when he was heard chanting, “Free, free Palestine,” cops said.
As investigators probed a motive behind the horrific antisemitic bloodshed, details were beginning to emerge about the anti-Israel agitator.
Rodriguez was once linked to the Party for Socialism and Liberation — a far-left group that regularly posts anti-Israel rhetoric on social media.
“End the genocide. Israel out of Gaza now,” the group posted Wednesday — just hours before the DC shooting.

Rodriguez didn’t flee or resist arrest. He wanted to be seen. The terrorist wanted the world to know exactly why he pulled the trigger. Because he believed the narrative that’s been echoing through campuses, newsrooms, and activist circles for years now: that Jewish lives are fair game in the name of “resistance.”
Let’s stop calling this “senseless.” It makes perfect sense when you’ve spent more than a year watching mobs chant “intifada” in the streets, professors rewrite history in real time, and universities issue statements that read like Hamas press releases. It hasn’t been underground, and it certainly hasn’t been subtle. Elias Rodriguez didn’t radicalize in secret—he did it out loud, cheered on by a culture that told him Israel is the villain and terror is just political speech with a body count.
I’d love to hear what Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib have to say about this—two young Israelis murdered in cold blood on American soil, targeted because they were Jewish. This wasn’t just a “tragedy.” It was a predictable result of the poison they’ve helped normalize. Their relentless demonization of Israel, their performative outrage, their silence when it’s Jews being hunted—it all adds up. And yes, I place blame squarely on them. They’ve spent years fanning the flames of anti-American, anti-Jewish hate. Now the fire is here.
JUST IN: Ilhan Omar REFUSES to condemn the assassination of Israeli diplomats in DC last night

Early this morning, Victory Girls Blog laid out how this attack is the end result of years spent justifying political violence. Rodriguez is the face of that result. His finger was on the trigger—but the cultural rot that empowered him came from academia, activism, and every spineless public figure who called evil “complicated.”
The media didn’t totally ignore what he said—they acknowledged the “Free, Free Palestine” chant—but then quickly moved on like it was just a random outburst, not a flashing neon sign pointing to motive. And notice what’s missing: no mention of Elias Rodriguez’s background, no curiosity about what groups he may have supported, no digging into whether he’d been radicalized online or through any of the activist pipelines that have been glorifying Hamas since October 2023.
Rodriguez wasn’t a lone actor. He’s the logical product of a culture that calls Israel “colonizers,” Jews “oppressors,” and Hamas “freedom fighters.” The campus chants, the DEI departments, the pundits who can’t say “terrorist” without adding “but context”—they helped build him.
Elias Rodriguez didn’t come out of nowhere. He acted with purpose—driven by a so-called righteous cause fed to him by activist professors and pandering politicians. They gave him the script. He just followed it. “Free Palestine,” he shouted—then pulled the trigger. Two young Israelis are dead, and the people who helped radicalize him will pretend they had nothing to do with it. But they did. And it’s long past time we said so.

No doubt Elias will join Luigi in the pantheon of leftist heroes. Shooting unarmed strangers in the back is so stunning and brave. One of these days they’ll pick the wrong stranger and then they’ll have a real martyr to fuss about.
From Chicago, ill, where some of the toughest gun laws exist. Wonder where he got the pistol, and does he have a rap sheet and/or mental health treatment record. The attack was obviously planned. Where and from whom did get information, money and other support.
Aggravated, First Degree Murder. Hate Crime. Terrorism! Life in prison without possibility of parole! Too bad we cannot institute the Death Penalty on this!
We can actually. He’s been charged by the Federales, not DC, and they still have the death penalty. We can only hope that they get him in the ground before the Dems come back in power and pardon him.
I’m continually amazed at the courage, the bravery, the sheer guts of the Hamas supporters, skillfully gunning down two unarmed Jooooos on the streets in Washington. I guess that I’ve missed all of the stories about how these American fighters for ‘Palestine’ picked up rifles and went to Gaza to fight armed soldiers of the IDF.
