This is classic:
The only question I have is this: when did Janeane Garofalo suddenly become one of the great thinkers on the Left? I would think they’d be hiding themselves in shame over that one.
The obvious part of this whole argument is the inherent sexism/racism in Garofalo and Olbermann’s argument. Sure, they find it cute and funny to joke that all women and blacks must be Democrats, but it isn’t cute and funny. It’s sexist and racist to say that all people of a certain race or gender must think the same way.
I think the best part, though, is when she talks about self-awareness. I would think someone who is apparently as “self-aware” as she is would be awfully embarassed to leave the house looking the way she did on that show.
Hat Tip: RedState
Which is more progressive ?
Tattooed and unwashed-hair Garofalo calling Limbaugh “self-loathing”; or, Olbermann seeking advice from tee-shirt wearing, tattooed, unwashed-hair Garofalo on how to be “more attractive to women” ?
I am torn.
Of course I mean after the way more progressive belief that all women and all blacks are liberal.
If memory serves me right, wouldn’t black people who were members of the democrat be the ones with Stockholm syndrome? After all, was it not the democrats that were pushing for that whole Jim Crow thing?
Was it not democrats that pushed the whole welfare program that replaced black fathers being in the home with food stamps?
*Chuckles* Good fun. You should put more of these light hearted plays on lefty stupidity.
I was chuckling a little bit until about 5 minutes in – then I was laughing out loud. The ombudsman is the greatest! 🙂
