Hating Satan Is A Hate Crime

We have become a ridiculous nation. Hating satan is a hate crime now. And I thought writing about Taylor Swift was more ridiculous. I was wrong.

Right before Christmas, someone beheaded satan. It was a statue in the Iowa Capitol Building that was on display, and Michael Cassidy took it upon himself to destroy it. Thank goodness we still have some people with common sense. Yes, I am praising the destruction of a satan statue.

Michael Cassidy, a veteran and former politician, made national news in mid-December after he decapitated a statue of satan that had been placed in the Iowa Capitol Building. For that act, he’s now facing a hate crime charge. –RedState

The Department of Justice has been enforcing hate crimes since they became the law of the land back in 1968 under President Johnson. What necessitates a hate crime? Violent acts based on race, color, religion, or national origin.

So, is satanism a real religion?

I say no. However, the IRS says otherwise.

The following statement can be found on The Satanic Temple’s website: The Satanic Temple is the only Satanic religious organization recognized as a church by the IRS and the Federal Court System. Does this make it an official religion? I don’t know.

Here is a refresher for you: Michael Cassidy was on Fox after he was arrested for fourth-degree criminal mischief when he killed satan nearly two months ago now.

Folks, what you see these days is a reaping of what you sow. For years now, we Republicans, conservatives, Independents, Libertarians, and freedom-loving Patriots have given inches that have turned into miles and tolerated the intolerable. Because, you know, the left likes to trap us with Who Are You To Say nonsense.

So now we see a man who hates satan being charged with a hate crime. Talk about intolerable. Most of us want to be left alone, but when do we speak up?

On its face, it’s absurd that destroying a statue of satan would qualify as a hate crime, but here we are. The Founding Fathers would have taken a bat to the statue themselves were they still alive. It does beg the question, though, of whether religious freedom requires the acknowledgment and protection of “religions” that are obviously not religions.

Even the people who put up the statue admit they don’t believe in satan and were just doing it to abuse religious freedom laws.- RedState

But you know, rioters tearing down historical statues across the United States back in 2020 is okay. How long will it be before most of the world is implanted with chips in their brains and are solid satan worshippers? All in the name of tolerance, right?

So Satanists love to claim that they aren’t a real religion but they scream for religious protection. Yep. Hypocrisy is a tool of the trade for folks like that.

Going to be fun watching this unfold. Wonder if the Satanists type are going to riot over their sacred idol getting decapitated?

Will be interesting to see how they get a jury to convict. Possible, I suppose. The prosecution may be able to kick enough serious Christians off the jury. The strange thing about that is whether or not that qualifies as religious persecution.
