The TQ+ wing of the Left has long been the tail wagging the dog all out of proportion to their numerical size. And while rational adults have made some progress against this cult, Trans haven’t lost much corporate support, inside and outside of American Pravda media.
Just because the Olympics has decided that why yes having males compete in female events is insane and non-leftists have, in some places, made it onto school boards, but common sense is still being portrayed as transphobia.
(E)xamples of the left’s deep commitment to (and, indeed, worship of) gender ideology are not hard to find. CNN also ran a piece decrying the Trump admin’s “inadvertently” deporting a “transgender woman” (that is, a man) to Mexico. On Tuesday The New York Times ran a lengthy puff piece on “the first American diplomat to come out as transgender,” who has since fled to Kazakhstan to escape imaginary Trump persecutions. Over in the U.K. this week, media outlets lashed out at a “misogynist charter” that aims to preserve women’s spaces. (Apparently, in all the confusion caused by cross-dressing, “misogyny” is really to blame.) Oh, and for good measure, WaPo and the Times both ran glowing pieces on “gay sheep” and the clothing made from their wool.

Regardless of transgenderism’s declining popularity or the rise of transgender violence, Democrat politicians are in perfect step with the media, as evidenced by Abigail Spanberger’s repeated refusal to say that women should have private spaces in a state where a trans-identifying male sexually assaulted multiple females in Loudoun County schools. Democrats’ dutiful Transgender Day of Remembrance posts are mere confirmation of their allegiance to trans ideology. Regardless of how unpopular the ideology becomes, they will continue to make policy decisions in accordance with that allegiance, the same way the Biden administration continued to leave the borders wide open even as illegal immigration became more unpopular, with devastating consequences for the country.
Among all the things that the Trump administration has exposed, it is that the Deep State is real. A vast, powerful, administrative state that is 90+% Leftwing, unresponsive to elected officials and outright hostile to any who go against their ideology. A toxic Mandarin class backed up by a culture dominated by Leftwing power — in academia, law, corporate boardrooms, and media.
And how about 130 Democrats urging SCOTUS to make a full mockery of Title IX?
A coalition of 130 congressional Democrats filed an amicus brief to the Supreme Court urging it to rule in favor of two trans athletes in forthcoming cases over the protection of women’s sports and national enforcement of Title IX.
The coalition, which includes nine senators and 121 House members, is led by Congressional Equality Caucus Co-Chair Rep. Becca Balint, D-V.t., Democratic Women’s Caucus Chair Rep. Teresa Leger, D-N.M. Fernández, and Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii. (snip)
The 130 Democrats on the list urge the court to side with Becky Pepper-Jackson, a trans teen from West Virginia who successfully challenged the state’s law that prohibits biological males from competing in girls’ sports, and Lindsay Hecox, who successfully challenged a similar law in Idaho to compete on Boise State’s women’s cross-country team.
Males in women’s spaces is an 80/20 issue …
In January, a New York Times/Ipsos survey found the vast majority of Americans, including a majority of Democrats, don’t think transgender athletes should be permitted to compete in women’s sports.
Of the 2,128 people who participated, 79% said biological males who identify as women should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports. Of the 1,025 people who identified as Democrats or leaning Democrat, 67% said transgender athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.
… but the Left treats dissent as just a speedbump along the way to a rainbow-hued future.
Even Trump administration policies in making sure court proceedings are based in reality are challenged by Trans ideologues as offensive.
The attorney for Jack “Ziz” LaSota, the alleged ringleader of a transgender death cult known as the “Zizians,” is claiming that the Trump Justice Department is “offensively” misgendering his client by breaking from Biden-era DOJ pronoun practices. (snip)
Proctor also complained about the prosecution refusing to respect LaSota’s “preferred pronouns.”
“The Government also doubles down on offensively labeling Ms. LaSota by using male pronouns such as ‘he was a fugitive from justice.’ It is well known, and widely reported, that Ms. LaSota is transgender,” Proctor wrote.
LaSota is male, regardless of name change or nail polish color. Biology isn’t offensive, but pretending it is just another tool of the Left. Because the bottom line is that to get to utopia, you have to bust up and grind down anything normal. Marriage, parenting, biology of two sexes, language, Judeo-Christian values, Western Enlightenment principles … they all gotta go.
We cannot rest on a couple of laurel leaves. They sure aren’t.

It’s actually pretty simple: our good friends on the left have concluded that they must take the furthest left position on anything even remotely connected to sex, of they would be enabling evil reich-wing Republicans and the undeniably fascist Donald Trump. And thus they have adopted the phrase “sex assigned at birth” and “trans women are women.” They are locked into the fantasy world of brave women fighters kicking the butts of evil fascist males, something reminiscent of Stalinist propaganda showing brave Soviet women armed with pitchforks spearing the invading Nazi hordes.
Part of the problem for them is athletics, where the physical differences between men and women actually make a difference. If Will Thomas had given up competitive swimming when he decided that he was really Lia, much of this would never be an issue. If A B Hernandez didn’t decide that he wanted to compete as a high school girl, and start winning all sorts of titles, most people wouldn’t care.
And who are the most important voices against allowing males to compete as females? The female athletes themselves! Supporters like Amanda Marcotte never competed in anything, so she can somehow not see any differences.
Admittedly, I’m old, older than dirt, so perhaps that’s why I can’t understand it, but what I don’t get is that the vast majority of the high school girls who are seeing mentally-deluded males in their bathrooms and locker rooms have boyfriends. At least when I was in high school, back in the days of quill pens and inkwells, if some guy tried to insist on using the girls’ bathrooms or phys ed locker rooms, the boyfriends of the real girls would have taken him aside and ‘explained’ to the offending boy just why he didn’t want to do that again.
Darleen Click says: I think the issue with the “what would the boyfriend do?” is that schools, since at least the 80s, are upside down on who is deserving of punishment. Defend yourself from attack? Be suspended for “mutual combat”. Go after a bully? Be expelled.
