Some of the funniest, black humor moments during my years working for a county district attorney’s office came from reading excuses from criminals. There’s the “these aren’t my pants” when drugs or weapons are discovered during a pat-down. Or the “I didn’t know this car was stolen. The not so funny ones are when victims of domestic abuse show up, still sporting bruises, to try and get baby daddy out of jail because he pays for food and diapers.

So excuse me if I feel a bit of deja vu watching the comedy gold of Democrats scramble to distribute their FACISTHITLERRACISTYADDAYADDAYADDA boilerplate talking points — phrases we see multiply across media like bunnies on crack — while there’s no denying the exposure of the whole rotten mess to mere taxpayers. $59 million sent to NYC Hotels by FEMA, $20 BILLION shifted out of the EPA in the last moments of the Biden administration.

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said in a video released on Wednesday night that his agency has discovered an unprecedented scheme that was utilized by the Biden administration to funnel money to far-Left activist groups.

“An extremely disturbing video circulated two months ago featuring a Biden EPA political appointee talking about how they were ‘tossing gold bars off the Titanic,’ rushing to get billions of your tax dollars out the door before Inauguration Day,” Zeldin said.

He continued, “The gold bars were tax dollars, and tossing them off the Titanic meant the Biden administration knew they were wasting it.”
