We shouldn’t be surprised or shocked. The Department of Defense has been caught lying again. This time about the number of troops in Syria. We were told that there were 900 troops in Syria. Turns out there are about 2000 troops deployed there. It’s hard, though, to comprehend the audacity. It’s impossible to integrate how much they hate us. It’s frightening to think the lack of respect those in The Swamp have for our family members who wear the uniform. I can’t quantify my anger at those who continue the charade.

Back in 2023, my brother told me that his oldest boy, in the Ohio National Guard, was deploying. Because we were sending troops into Poland after the start of the Russia invasion into Ukraine, I assumed it was Poland. I was wrong. Dave told me JH was going to Syria. What? I didn’t know that we had troops in Syria. And, I consider myself a fairly well-informed American. A quick perusal put the number at 900 troops in Syria. Really? How was this not national news? Our family has done the “D” before. We were not virgins. Not panicking and wailing. But our government and the Department of Defense were lying. Bigly.

The trouble with the truth inside America’s most famous five-sided building exploded anew Thursday when a two-star general admitted at the beginning of a Pentagon press briefing that the Biden administration had doubled the number of U.S. troops inside Syria months ago while continuing to provide a false and lower number to reporters.

“As you know, we have been briefing you regularly that there are approximately 900 U.S. troops deployed to Syria,” Maj. Gen. Patrick Ryder told stunned reporters. “In light of the situation in Syria and the significant interest, we recently learned that those numbers were higher.

“So asked to look into it, I learned today that, in fact, there are approximately 2,000 U.S. troops in Syria,” he added.

The revelation that the Biden administration had doubled the number of deployed troops for months without public disclosure left even one of the country’s oldest and most revered military publications incredulous.

“The surge of 1,100 troops to the country has been going on for months without being disclosed publicly,” the Navy Times blared on X.

Whoa! Stop the presses. The Chief Liar Karine Jean Pierre just said this troop surge in Syria was temporary. That was after she said that the White House Press should ask the D.O.D. about troop numbers. Thirty-one days and that fraud is out of there.

Speaking of lying. Major General Patrick Ryder is the new Rear Admiral John Kirby. He has the same relationship to the truth that Kirby had. This is embarrassing, but he doesn’t flinch at all.

General Ryder has spent his career in communications. Check out the fruit salad on his chest. That’s a lot of ribbons for “communicating”. There are personnel who have survived actual battles that don’t have that many ribbons.

Don’t forget that the Perfumed Princes of the Pentagon are renowned for lying during this regime. From Just the News again:
