Democrats hold a super-majority in the Colorado legislature and have no problem being upfront and open with their hostility towards parents and their obsession with sexualizing school children.

Colorado lawmakers are weighing legislation to require the state’s public and charter schools to socially transition any gender-confused student by adopting that child’s preferred name and pronouns.

The bill states that a student’s “chosen name” is a protected form of “gender expression” that schools must respect. (snip)

The bill would be the first state law enshrining social transitions at school and has a strong chance of passing given that Colorado Democrats hold a super majority in the legislature.

Colorado leftists are taking the position that a child at school has First Amendment rights which include choosing any name and pronouns that place an obligation on schools to honor. It’s a straight-forward mandate that creates a task force to come up with all the implementation verbiage on how school personnel will be obligated to indulge any student request for name and pronouns of their choice, even if that is not their legal name or what the child goes by at home.

Conspicuous by its absence in this bill are parents.

Well, now. This should all go well, don’t you think? Leave aside the usual jokesters and class clowns who will be demanding their name is “You Highness” and changing it with the seasons, this is also about children exposed to the social contagion of Transgenderism discovering they, too, can bully any school staff member who isn’t a sufficiently loud cheerleader of their fantasy-role of “being” the other sex.

We are allowing, in state after state, contemporary Marxists to foist sexual fetishes as sacrosanct identities on children. Dig through the background of the authors of these bills and find mentally-ill, hostile people.

It isn’t just California where an open pervert is using state law to target children.

I’m so old I remember when gays and lesbians just wanted to be left alone to live their lives in privacy. Yet the moment they gained the right to government-sanctioned marriage in 2015, the flood gates opened to all manner of demands that had nothing to do with quiet domesticity. The Queering of America quickly demonstrated how to shove the whole camel under the tent, from destroying Title IX to bullying gays and lesbians about their sexual orientation. And in the last few years, TQ+ perverts have aggressively targeted children and made the sexual mutilation and sterilization of minors a lucrative medical bonanza for unethical doctors, surgeons and therapists.

Hearings on Colorado’s transgender mandate bill begins tomorrow. Are Colorado parents paying attention? Are they going to let the pederasts and trans-fetish advocates in the Democrat party roll out this legislation with little opposition? How much child sacrifice has to occur before we get out the torches and pitchforks and run these people out of positions of power?
