So apparently, some of you guessed why I had to take the weekend off from blogging. Matt and I got married! We had to take Friday off to go and get our marriage license, and then we got married Saturday evening at sunset. This was just at the courthouse, and we are still planning on having a wedding next year when he returns home from his deployment. We are unbelievably happy, and I feel so honored to be his wife.
The big question most people seem to have is what will happen to the blog! For right now, I’m planning on keeping my maiden name professionally although I am legally changing my last name to his. That may or may not change in the future.
Anyways, here are a few pictures from us below the jump.
Matt is a lucky man. 🙂

Way to go Cassy. Many years of wedded bliss and BX privileges. 🙂
Congrats! and Best wishes.
Congratulations to you both!
Congratulations!
Congratulations to both of you. And yes, it’s cheaper to shop at the BX. No sales tax to worry about.
Matt: Hold on tight to her, buddy. Hold on tight.
Congratulations Cassy and Matt! May the good lord watch over and guide you.
Congrats to you both!
May all the happiness in the world be yours, Cassy and Matt.
The ten years I’ve been married to Mrs. Belvedere have been the happiest years in my life.
Godspeed.
You look beautiful! I’m a long-time blurker here, but I’ll come out of hiding to congratulate you. Congratulations!!
Congratulations. May you be blessed with many years together and with a family that gives happiness to you both. I hope to be able to read the announcement of your reaching the 50% point (number of years married = number of years unmarried) in your blog as well as how your children grow and prosper.
Cool. Congratulations!
After your righteous decimation of that whiny, adulterous skank who dumped her deployed husband for an elitist antiwar tool, I know Matt couldn’t have done any better than you, Cassy.
Regarding the blog’s name; just ease into the transition. First, Cassy Fiano, then Cassy Fiano Chesser, then after awhile, Cassy Chesser.
God bless you both, and your marriage.
All those Leathernecks will want Matt on their flank – he is obviously one lucky guy!
Very cool!
Jen and I did the same thing about eight years ago — ‘eloped’ with a judge, drove off to see a Lyle Lovett/Bonnie Rait concert and spent the wedding money on a couple weeks in Hawaii.
We had a reception at a local brewery a couple months later.
A lot cheaper, a lot lower stress and a lot more fun.
Congratulations and the best of luck to you and Matt!

Very cool. My prayers go out to the both of you. Marriage is a lot of work, with very good rewards. Work hard and enjoy the results!
Here’s hoping you have many wonderful years together.
Congrats! As a OIF vet and 20 years, the military is a great life for those who chose it. Best of luck and Matt, keep yer head down and get home safely.
Congrats Cassy! Best wishes to you both.

You look lovely and you both look unbelievably happy. Here’s to many happy years together, a happy home, and many children. 🙂
Congratulations from Southern California. I won’t be disappointed if the blogging gets a little light for a while. But you be sure and make up for it later, y’hear?
