Surprise! One of Obama’s appointees for czardom turned out to be nothing more than a partisan thug, a truther, and a racist. How shocking. Obama likes to hang out with people like Jeremiah Wright, Tony Rezko, and Bill Ayers. Why would Van Jones be any different? Unfortunately for Obama, his rather meager vetting process imploded on him regularly in the beginning of his term, and he apparently just didn’t learn. Van Jones resigned amidst the controversy, and it just goes to show what a novice Barack Obama truly is.
His resignation letter reveals a lot, as well.
On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me. They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide.
I have been inundated with calls – from across the political spectrum – urging me to “stay and fight.”
But I came here to fight for others, not for myself. I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future.
See? He’s a noble guy, a martyr, and us mean conservatives are smearing him. We’re using lies and distortions. The “lies” included direct quotes and reading a petition that he signed accusing Bush of orchestrating the 9-11 attacks. To the left, the truth is a lie, and lies are the truth.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t work with the general public anymore.
The American people are furious, and Obama is losing support faster than ever. The BO stamp of approval no longer matters. He can’t skate by anymore.
The honeymoon is truly over now.
Chris M-G says: Is it? The media is still portraying him, and he is agreeing- that he’s a “victim of a right-wing smear.” The delicious part: The “right-wing smears” are no more than videos of himself proving that he did what he is now denying.
In the political context, if we can use the term ‘honeymoon’, is it OK to ask about the divorce?

Whew, thank you Mr. Jones for clearing up that “Health Care” and
“Clean Energy” are not “Rights”.
And, no, it was not “on the eve” of ANYTHING that your career was relegated back to a “community activist”, except perhaps the eve of the day that “We the People..” remembered that The Office of The President is NOT omnipotent, and as Mr. Obama suggested, we shall CONTINUE to judge him by the(assigned))company he keeps.
If only Mr. Obama would explain WHO is suggesting which people those should be.

When the Great Messiah ends his sole 4-year term with a resume of failure, pipe dreams that withered on the vine and outright lies that lead to even more lies, it will be the Great Republican Conspiracy that will be blamed. Stupid is never the reason behind failure; oppression and conspiracy are. With this as their mantra, the left will always be blameless, and the right will always be at fault. It is the perfect religion for losers.
