My newest American Issues Project column takes Obama to task for his disrespect of 9-11. While he may not have personally sunk to this low by writing the filth himself, he allowed it to be written and posted on his website. It was only removed after complaints were raised. Yet we’re supposed to believe that he’s patriotic and respectful of the tragedy that happened that terrible day? Give me a break. To Obama, 9-11 is just another day he can exploit to try to get his disastrous government-run health care passed.
September 11 was one of the darkest days in American history. While countless Americans understand that, and still grieve each year over the loss of almost 3,000 of their fellow Americans, it seems that for the Obama administration, it’s nothing more than a talking point to be exploited. And oh, how he is exploiting it.
Our sick new Commander-in-Chief had an event planned on his official website for 9-11, but once he realized the colossal mistake it was, he had it quickly removed. However, Heritage was smart enough to save a screen cap of the event.
On 9-11, Obama wanted to rally for health care, apparently somehow as a way of remembering that day. Rather than, for one day, letting the partisan politics drop and letting Americans reflect, mourn, and remember, Barack Obama wanted to turn it into a “health care organizing event”. Calling 9-11 “Patriot Day”, Americans are encouraged to stay home and call their senators and congressmen to help push for government run health care. This, apparently, is what patriots would do, and therefore, somehow honors the memory of those who died on 9-11. But they don’t stop there. While trying to turn one of the worst tragedies in American history into nothing more than a health care rally is enough to make you mildly queasy, Obama really takes it over the line as you read further down the page.
To see just how far Obama goes in smearing the opposition and exploiting 9-11… well, you’ll just have to read the whole thing.
Cassy, please consider volunteering for Project 2996 at project2996.wordpress.com They are nearly 2000 volunteers short this year, and that’s a disgrace.
The name that I drew is Michael J. Berkeley. http://chl-tx.com/instructorsview/project-2996-remembering-michael-j-berkeley/
I can hardly wait for Obama to suggest 9/11 as the official “Hug a Muslim to show you love him” day.
This makes sense because as we all well know, the terrorists hate us for our lack of government healthcare.
That’s why they always scream “praise allah and the public option” before committing acts of terrorism.
Give it a few generations, with complete control of the media and education that above statement could absolutely become true.
