* You can’t leave father alone with the girls as well as mother with the boys.
* Children can’t cross the river without the help of grown-ups.

Sadly, no, I cannot. I vaguely recognize it as an updated version of a puzzle from elementary school, and I remember how obvious the solution was when I read it, but no. I couldn’t figure it out.

Actually, that’s not true. I know that I could eventually figure it out, but I got bored and just gave up.
