Christmas celebrations usually mean family traditions. At your parents or, when you have your own family everyone comes to your home. But we move, families change through the cycle of life, and many times, we find ourselves far away from what we are used to.

First responders, doctors, nurses — all take their turn working Christmas. Hospital patients, young and old, never count on being away from home. Police still police, firefighters wait for any calls. And our military members, especially those deployed overseas, make Christmas in any way they can wherever they are.

We here at Victory Girls are wishing that no matter where you find yourself, or how far away from home you may be, that the joy of Christmas lives in your heart. Because Christmas isn’t where we find ourselves, we carry it inside.
