While at a film festival in Turin, Italy noted American genius, Alec Baldwin, diagnosed America’s problem, we just want a little bit of information. We are misinformed. The noted Sage of Massapequa informs the Italian film crowd that the news business is a business that must make money and that films of all types can fill the information gaps. Holy smokes, what a dolt.
There was a time, not to long ago when actors were classed with prostitutes and criminals. Nowadays, many of them have an entirely too high opinion of themselves. Like Alec Baldwin. From Fox News:
Alec Baldwin believes that Americans have a misunderstanding of the world’s most pressing problems.
The reason for this, he explained at a recent event, is that they’re uneducated and led astray by the mass media.
The 66-year-old “Rust” actor, this year’s recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Torino Film Festival in northern Italy, commented on the media’s influence in reporting news.
“Television news in the United States is a business. They have to make money,” Baldwin said during a press conference, per The Hollywood Reporter. He added, “There’s a hole. There’s a vacuum. There is a gap, if you will, in information for Americans.”
He continued, “Americans are very uninformed about reality – what’s really going on. With climate change, Ukraine, Israel… You name it, all the biggest topics in the world, Americans have an appetite for a little bit of information.”
“A little bit of information??” Maybe, just maybe Americans are working multiple jobs so that we can use bulldozers to send scoops of money to Ukraine. Or funding more solar farms with the waste that we have no place for. The “biggest” topics in the world Americans have no time for. Plus, they look around at the elites discussing climate change and watch them get on their private planes and realize the total hypocrisy. Watch this esteemed actor with his condescending elitism:
Insufferable! He appeared at this Turin Film Festival with the understanding that no one would mention the film “Rust”. You remember? The film where Baldwin killed Halyna Hutchins with a prop gun. Baldwin is myopically focused on his wife, the faux Spaniard Hilaria:
“This is obviously the most difficult thing I’ve ever dealt with in my life,” he said.
Hutchins was shot and killed with a prop gun handled by Baldwin, who was charged and cleared of involuntary manslaughter in her death. Baldwin revealed the trial took a toll on his wife, Hilaria.
“Beyond the victims themselves, the thing that most pains me is what it did to my wife. My wife has been very, very traumatized from this,” Baldwin said. “There has been a lot of pain. When you are married to somebody and everything was going fairly well and we had seven kids … and the floor falls out. It’s very frightening and very disturbing.”
Hilaria the faux Spaniard born and raised in Massachusetts, but she doesn’t speak English well. How you say phony:
Also let us not forget how his wife, Hilaria, pretended to be a Latina in order to win praise and awards, then admitted she's from a Boston. She even tried to pretend she forgot how to say "cucumber" in English. pic.twitter.com/QsqTpFRt7J https://t.co/Tad1dTIBXL

Finally, I will give the final word to great actor Robert Davi. Yes, Alec Baldwin has grifted his whole life off of the American people.

Alec Baldwin is out of touch.

Alex Baldwin . . .
His best role was, and still remains, in Team America, World Police.
Imagine…a guy who makes his living playing make believe preaching to us about “reality”
I’m from the government and I’m here to help.
I’ll pull out before …
Why yes, I am wealthy.
The gun wasn’t loaded.

C’mon, Toni, you’re not that old. 😉
The reason for this, he explained at a recent event, is that they’re uneducated and led astray by the mass media.
Holy cow! He actually got that right! They are mal-educated into Progressivism and the mass media perpetuates it by providing Progressive pablum to keep them from seeing reality (and thereby revolting against the Prog Church).
this year’s recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award
Is that to recognize the achievement of shooting someone in the face and getting away with it? Because that really is a once-in-a-lifetime sort of thing.
Watch this esteemed actor with his condescending elitism:
Looking at the still there – with the translation speaker in one ear, his baggy eyes, the haircut, the head thrust forward. the plain suit – it reminds me so much of pictures of the Nuremburg Trials….
Baldwin revealed the trial took a toll on his wife, Hilaria.
Why? Was she worried he’d bring his work home with him?
and the floor falls out
We can only wish it had, Alec. From a platform about 8 feet up, with a rope dangling above that portion of floor.
He is right about one thing: the news media does it for money. It is a specialized form of entertainment, whose purpose it is to get as many people as possible to watch/click, so it can charge the greatest possible advertising rates. Rush Limbaugh was quite frank about it, calling station breaks “insane profit breaks.” There is no substantive difference between “60 Minutes” and “Let’s Make A Deal,” which is also a specialized form of entertainment whose purpose is to sell advertising, except for the pretensions of the people who put on “60 Minutes.”
“There was a time, not to long ago when actors were classed with prostitutes and criminals.”
Prostitutes, at least, object to such a classification.
Alec, you are an angry and broken shell of a man. You are getting older and realizing that you need to take drastic measures to be relevant. When you die, it will be met with a lot of people saying “Hang on; he was still alive?”
