The Oscars — Hollywood’s night of pomp and self-indulgence — still draws eyeballs and provides a chance for political theater. 2024 saw a group of Beautiful People get their anti-Semite freak on by wearing bloody-hand-print, pro-Hamas pins.
Can someone please tell the actors who wore a red pin with a hand to protest the war that they used imagery Jews associate with the 2000 Ramallah lynching of two Israelis.
And you better believe that the person who designed the pin knows it. pic.twitter.com/lF6uXdnTUH

“Lynching” is too soft a term for what happened to the two Israelis. They were literally butchered with a savagery that has been visited upon Jews time and again for a few thousand years and witnessed on Oct 7. Not just the acceptability of savagery against Jews, but its celebration by “Palestinians” across Gaza, Judea and Samaria.
And the tacit support of such savagery was also on display 7,500 miles from Gaza on the red carpet in Los Angeles. Stupid or evil?
In the months since Hamas’s Oct. 7 terror attack on Israel, protesters have repeatedly used the symbol of bloody hands to condemn the Jewish state’s war against the Palestinian terror group. It has been part of a trend of anti-Israel activists evoking the language of Palestinian terrorism. Outside the Oscars, hundreds of protesters blocked traffic and chanted, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” a rallying cry for Palestinian terrorism that has become commonplace at such rallies.
The red pins were handed out by Artists4Ceasefire, a Hollywood group that, like Hamas, has demanded an immediate end to the Gaza war. Celebrities also wore the pins at the Grammys and the SAG awards.
Certainly, for some, it is stupidity borne of studied ignorance of history of the region and the goals of the IslamoNazis masquerading as oppressed peoples of a colonizer-settler state. The hothouse flowers of the entertainment industry, feted, fawned over, tongue-bathed at every opportunity tend to latch on underdogs as a way to claim moral superiority via lazy virtue signalling.
But “Palestinians” as underdogs? These bloody pin wearers have swallowed (or participated) in the anti-Jew propaganda hook-line-and-sinker.
We are witnessing in real time the machinations of this pro-terrorist campaign. They support all the carnage done by Hamas as “resistance” while simultaneously claiming 1) it never happened 2) the murdered babies were fake 3) Israel is behind it with helicopters, do ignore the paragliders.
As the daughter of an advertising executive, I grew up learning about messaging and marketing. The old anti-Semitic tropes — stuff that has popped up among the fringy Jewhaters for years — have grown into quasi-acceptable discourse. Apartheid? Jews as colonialists? Jews as money-grubbing world oppressors? Jews having white privilege?
I’m half expecting some keffiyeh-wearing Harvard student from Beverly Hills talking seriously about Jews using the blood of Christian babies to make matzah.
When stupidity is indistinguishable from malice, go with malice as the motivator. Mark Ruffalo, for one, has a pedigree in Jewhate.
Jonathan Glazer didn’t stand on the stage after winning an Oscar and offer humble appreciation — no he had to indulge his Leftist creds and “refute” his own Jewishness.
In Jonathan Glazer's "Zone of Interest," you don't see one Jew. Those are the best Jews, according to Glazer: the faceless victims screaming in the distance. Ironically, he's the villain: picking up awards from the bodies of those anonymous dead Jews while ignoring the living…

Dead Jews are acceptable victims to be tutted over or ignored. Successful Jews? Jews who say “enough” and defend themselves? Jews who are unapologetically Jewish? Well, then …
When Israel is treated differently, held to different standards of conduct and whose very sovereignty as a nation is dismissed, that is anti-Semitism.
Israel is the world’s Jew. — Natan Sharansky.
Hollywood has embraced all the malice towards Jews it can muster and thrown its support behind the Nazis “Palestinians”. The blood of Jews isn’t just on their lapels.

Do you know where the bloody hand thing actually started? It didn’t have anything to do with Israel/Palestine.
Remember the slaughter in the factory in Srebrenica, Bosnia? The bloody handprint on the wall became a symbol of “oppression of Muslims.” (I’ve been in that factory, and it is a very powerful sight.) And Bosnia was one of the most blatant pro-Muslim propaganda operations in America, predating even the “Muslim is a religion of peace” crap after 9/11.
It might be that it has even earlier uses. But I know it was used about Bosnia, and I believe I saw it in relation to Kosovo, as well. (Lots of lying going on over Kosovo, too.)
