A quote: “Waste no more time arguing about what a good man should be. Be one.” ~~ Marcus Aurelius
I’ll start with a story …
******************************
She planted the first bed of tulip bulbs right after they moved into their first home. She called it “cozy” when a couple of her sorority sisters declared “SMALL”.
Several of her college chums – even some of her own family – didn’t think much of Will. He was not much with words, only finished high school. But a quick mind, talented hands and they never wanted for anything.
Most important, he knew how to say “I love you.”
60 years later, the first anniversary of his passing, she walks into the kitchen to find fresh cut tulips.
“I love you, too.”

Now, it’s your turn.

OK, need to wash them in the sink and get them in the vase before-
“They’re pretty. What’s the occasion?” she asked as she walked into the room.
“It’s been a tough few days but you still smile through it. That’s what the yellow tulips mean: There is sunshine in your smile.”
She gave me an amused look. “And this has nothing to do with the new puppy I just saw our son trying to hide?”
“Did I mention how lovely you look right now?”
“Who found it?”
“Me. And the kid bonded to her already. Let’s go say hi.”
Excellent, Cameron!

two hips connectted by two lips, on a sinking ship, can we flip the script they wonder,or we bound to take a dip, into the icy waters grip?
“Why the flowers in the bathroom sink, Honey?”
“Sorry. It was the only place I could think of. I was unpacking dishes and the kitchen sink was full and then the third neighbor showed up with another covered dish, and I had to get the fridge plugged in to put them away, and then another neighbor came with the flowers and I don’t know which box the vases are in and and I’m feeling so flustered and overwhelmed and ”
“Honey, stop. Take a breath. These are good problems to have, right?”
“Yeah.”
“Think we’ll like this neighborhood?”
“Yeah.”
A chain reaction from moving to a nice place. Very cool.
‘At least the sink overflow worked.’
Detective Overhouse turned the water off with the tip of his pen. The cut flowers in the sink must’ve come from the deceased’s garden.
He glanced back at the woman on the floor. It appeared that she simply tripped, hit her head on the tub and died there, but the jimmied back door with the broken window suggested otherwise. Her daughter had come by, found her and was cooperative. Crime scene would figure out the details.
“Bob,” his partner asked from the doorway. “The daughter wants to know if she’s wearing her diamond necklace.”
