Trey Gowdy seemed to hold nothing back in his opening statement this morning before formal questioning of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton began in the much-anticipated House Benghazi Hearing. He was tough, resolute, and made certain Mrs. Clinton understood, despite her assertions otherwise, she’s not, and never has been, the primary focus of the committee’s investigation:

And then it was the sycophantic, obfuscating Elijah Cummings’ turn, but not before Mrs. Clinton shot an ear-to-ear grin his way.
