Eleven days ago, a massive train filled with cars of dangerous chemicals derailed in East Palestine, Ohio. The dangerous cars were later blown up leaving a Chernobyl-like disaster. Yesterday, Pothole Pete didn’t mention the physical and environmental disaster instead he joked about balloons and lectured about too many White people in construction in communities of color. This is what you get when you hire based on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion instead of subject matter competence.
