We were told that Joe Biden was Mr. Empathy. Because of the various tragedies in his life, he understood grief. President Donald Trump, we were told, had no heart and didn’t understand suffering. If you do an internet search, of “Joe Biden” and “empathy”, the entire first page is how Joe Biden must be elected to the Presidency because of his empathy. It was, then, surprising that Biden met Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot at the airport in Chicago, on his way to Crystal Lake to sell his Build Back Better program, and didn’t mention the shooting victims of last weekend.
