#CutTheCheck: Ferguson Protestors Promised Payment, Stiffed by Activist Group

Well, this is an interesting turn of events.

Who could forget these scenes from last summer in little Ferguson, Missouri, when rioting erupted after the shooting of Michael Brown by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson?

Ferguson is quiet now, although there are some very disgruntled activists who participated in those protests. It appears that they haven’t been paid, and they are quite angry.

Paid? Why, wasn’t this a spontaneous protest on the part of angry residents?

If you believe that, let me interest you in a bridge. . .

It appears that the activist group Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment (MORE), formerly known as the St. Louis chapter of Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN — yes, that ACORN), had been paying protesters $5000 per month to protest in Ferguson. MORE apparently has stiffed the rent-a-mob participants, leading them to protest once again — only this time outside the St. Louis office of MORE.

Angry protestors took to Twitter to vent their frustration using the hashtag #CutTheCheck.

Guess who was one of the financiers behind the funding of the Ferguson protests.

It was this guy.

SorosYes, radical leftist billionaire George Soros gave some $33 million last year to established activist groups that helped to further fuel the Ferguson unrest over several days.

MORE also set up an Amazon wedding registry — yes, you read correctly, a wedding registry — called “OBS & MORE Jail Support and STL Legal Collective’s Wedding Registry” for the happy’event’ later this summer:

Shameless.

But while these paid rent-a-mob members are complaining about not getting their money from the likes of puppet-master George Soros and MORE, police officer Darren Wilson’s life has been changed forever. And I don’t see the reviled-by-the-Left Koch Brothers paying protestors to riot on his behalf.
