Would a President Trump Appoint His Pro Abortion Judge Sister to SCOTUS?

If Donald Trump’s supporters are convinced that he is a champion of the unborn, they may want to think again.

On Wednesday, in a lengthy interview for Bloomberg News, Mark Halperin and John Heilermann queried Trump about whom he would like to see on the Supreme Court.

Trump replied that his sister, a federal judge, would be a “phenomenal” Supreme Court justice, although “we would have to rule that out now, at least.”

So who is Donald Trump’s judge sister?

Her name is Maryanne Trump Barry, and she is a senior judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She was first nominated by President Reagan in 1983 as a Federal District Judge, and then in 1999 was appointed by President Clinton to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

She is also a pro-abortion judge who wrote a judicial decision in favor of giving constitutional protection to partial birth abortion.
