You’re being warned. What has been seen cannot be unseen.
A street artist in Australia has created a mural of Hillary Clinton portrayed as a stripper, with money tucked into her swimsuit. The local authorities were not happy at all, and ordered it removed.
Not because it depicted an American presidential candidate, but because it showed a nearly nude woman.
This is what it looked like. I’m sorry. I’ll give you a chance to compose yourselves.
It’s not the first time the street artist, who goes by the name of ‘Lushsux,’ has created controversial art featuring the famous — as well as infamous.
Of course this being the good ol’ U.S. of A., we’re not so squeamish about some of our forms of expression. We conservatives can appreciate the California street artist known as ‘Sabo’ for creating some interesting interpretations of both sides of the political spectrum. Some of his work can be enjoyed at his website Unsavory Agents, which also features a store for those interested.
There’s this image of Bernie Sanders. . . .
. . . along with his most famous work — this poster made of Ted Cruz. (Cruz said the image was incorrect: he doesn’t smoke.)
But let’s go back, shall we, to the time when Hillary Clinton actually did publicly expose herself in a swimsuit?
It was in the Virgin Islands in 1998, when she and Bill were photographed dancing on a beach.
I’m sure Bill and Hill were desperate to avoid paparazzi clamoring to snap their pictures, as if they were an earlier version of Prince William and Kate (cough, cough). If there’s one thing that a Clinton loves, it’s publicity.
As I said above, you’ve been warned. But take heart — you have the rest of the weekend to recover.
