Mexico Will Not Accept Trump Administration Deportation Rules

Mexico’s Foreign Minister, Luis Videgaray, has stated that his country will not accept the Trump Administration’s plans to deport illegal immigrants in the United States to Mexico. The illegal immigrants would be deported to Mexico regardless of their home countries. As reported by The Guardian:

Tens of thousands of migrants – mostly from Central America, but increasingly from further afield – transit Mexico annually in attempts to reach the US border. Mexico has turned enforcer, imposing the Southern Border Plan in 2014 to detain and deport migrants transiting Mexican territory, even as it doggedly defends its own nationals at risk of deportation in the United States.

Additionally, The Guardian reports:

Mexico has indicated it will not accept the Trump administration’s new immigration proposals, saying it will go to the United Nations to defend the rights of immigrants in the US.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson (l) and Department of Homeland Security Head John Kelly (r)

“Ruh roh, Shaggy”, both Mexico and the United Nations coming after us? “Jinkies!” Donald Trump has an idea. Send in Secretary of State Rex Tillerson (aka Big Oil Man) and head of the Department of Homeland Security John Kelly (Marine). They will whisper sweet nothings into the ears of both Foreign Minister Videgaray and Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto. Tillerson and Kelly will do it emissary style.
