“I Got You.” Shannon Johnson’s last words

Shannon Johnson and Denise Peraza worked as health inspectors for the San Bernardino County Public Health Department. Wednesday they were at the meeting shot up by a pair of terrorists spreading hate as ISIS taught them.  However their victims showed the opposite of the evil teachings of ISIS/Daesh.  Denise Peraza survived because Mr. Johnson shielded her with his life. Denise Peraza told Fox News the following:

A man who shielded a coworker as a final act before he died in Wednesday’s terror attack in San Bernardino is being hailed as a hero.

Here is a photo of Shannon Johnson.

He is the kind of hero we can all hope to be in the worst situation. He did not panic but did what he could to save a life even though he died doing so.

27-year-old Denise Peraza said Shannon Johnson, 45, wrapped his arm around his younger coworker, said “I got you,” and saved her life.

I got you. Simple, concise and full of love for a fellow human being.

Peraza shared the story of her survival and paid tribute to Johnson, whom she called an “amazing” and “selfless” man
