House at Risk: Republicans Stopped Acting Like a Majority

Republicans were handed the House in 2024, and too many of them acted like winning the election was the accomplishment instead of what came next. Voters expected action. Instead, they’ve watched members disappear because of health problems, retire early, miss votes, feud with each other, or spend half their time building personal brands. That’s not exactly the picture of a party eager to hold onto its majority.
