Curt Schilling, the legendary pitcher for the Boston Red Sox and ESPN analyst, has just been fired. Why? Because he dared to voice his opinion on his Facebook page. Schilling is a vocal conservative, and always has been. He’s supported George W. Bush in the past, and has talked about possibly running for Senate. Now, the issue du jour is that of transgender bathrooms, and Schilling shared a meme that sparked a HUGE controversy. Easily-offended liberals began their usual caterwauling, Schilling responded on his blog calling them out for being easily offended… and then, ESPN fired him.
