Michelle Obama in Interview: If I Could Trade Places With Anyone, I Would Be Beyonce

So now you know. In an interview with rapper Wale last week after the Beating the Odds summit at which the Michelle Obama invited more than 100 college-bound students to celebrate their achievements and hear from a number of guest speakers, FLOTUS has revealed that if she can trade places with anyone, she would trade places with….

‘Cuz “she’s got the hands”. The love fest continues. Beyoncé performed at Obama’s inauguration in 2009 and attended Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday party along with her husband, Jay-Z last year. “Bey” and “Jay” have visited the White House numerous times and were photographed in the Situation Room in 2010 (Breitbart)

“Beyoncé could not be a better role model for my girls because she carries herself with such class and poise and has so much talent.” Michelle Obama

Poise and class. Because nothing says “poise” and “class” like these lyrics, right?

Can you lick my Skittles, it’s the sweetest in the middle/ Pink is the flavor, solve the riddle”-from a song entitled “Blow.”

“I fill the tub up halfway then I ride it with my surfboard, surfboard/ Grinding on that wood, grinding, grinding on that wood”-from “Drunk in Love” duet with husband, Jay-Z.

“Over there I swear I saw them cameras flash/ Hand prints and footprints on my glass/ Hand prints and good grips on my a–“-from the song, “Partition”.

There are more from where those came from but we will spare you the details-the above three are plenty to illustrate a point here. Let’s not forget, she also stated that Bey “could not be a better role model” for her girls. Can we just all collectively do a face palm right about now?

And who can forget the painful existence of the #BanBossy “I’m not bossy, I’m the boss” campaign?

Please! Let her trade places with Beyonce! Maybe she’ll stop bossing us around about how a pile of processed veggie slop is somehow healthier than a hamburger for our kids with that horrific school lunch program. Or perhaps stop her condescending remarks about how most young Americans are “knuckleheads” and not responsible when it comes to healthcare.

But, then again, she may not be too far off from the “knuckleheads” remark if “role models” for our young people are Beyonce and Jay-Z. And, Michelle Obama may be right. Perhaps her girlfriend Bey possesses a little more class and poise that her royal highness even. Not much, but at this point-we will take what we can get. I know I’ve posed this question countless times before but…

…is it 2016 yet?
