As CNN is reporting, two committees in the Republican led house are debating the American Healthcare Act (AHCA). The Ways and Means Committee and The Energy and Commerce Committee are debating and marking up (writing) the new healthcare bill.
After an 18-hour session, the House Ways and Means Committee has become the first to approve the Republicans’ Obamacare repeal bill.
White House and Republican congressional leaders had sought to fast track the legislation through Congress. Democrats made clear it wouldn’t be easy — dragging out a grueling day of committee sessions well into the early morning hours. The House Energy and Commerce Committee is still debating.
Omgravy, they worked all night. Bless their little pea picking hearts. They are writing the bill now. What the Sam Hill have they been doing the last seven years as Americans were suffering under the (Un)Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare.
