apparently, the obama administration is continuing to leak and dither on afghanistan, all in the name of ‘clarity’.
a ‘senior administration official’ (rahmbo? axelrod?) leaked that the feckless obama, in an attempt to seek clarity, is rejecting all the afghanistan war options presented by his national security team. it’s also been leaked that he felt he was being ‘rushed and railroaded’ by the plan provided by his own handpicked general, stanley mcchrystal.
but all is not lost folks.
obama plans to announce his revamped ‘war strategy’ later in the month when he returns from yet one more overseas trip this time to asia.
‘obama’s war strategy’. laughable.
It sure does make me long for the days when we had the clear, well-thought-out military strategies concocted by Junior-Dick-Rummy. Look what they brought us:
* Two disastrous wars with no clear objectives
* A support-the-troops stop-loss policy that is resulting in troops being deployed for their 3rd, 4th, and 5th tours of combat duty
* No exit strategy for either theater
* 7 years of war with no end in sight

The man spent the better part of 18 months of the presidential campaign saying over and over that Afghanistan is the right war, the necessary war. And here he is, nearly one year into his actual presidency, sitting on intelligence reports and recommendations from the ground for months.
Obama has had more than enough time to review the recommendations from General McChrystal and ask questions or seek additional strategic options.
You’d think that after campaigning on it and having several strategic options in his hands for nearly 4 months Obama would know what he needs to do. Yet he continues to play international footsy with the lives of our warriors.
Men and women who Obama isn’t fit to be within 100,000 miles of.
If it hasn’t been clear before, it is now. Obama is incompetent. He is supposed to be Commander-in-Chief; looks like he’s Coward-in-Chief for putting politics over the safety and well-being of our warriors.

Gosh, Dade, I didn’t see Bush or Cheney mentioned anywhere in this post. This is about OBAMA’S lack of action. I realize you can only drudge up Bush whenever someone criticizes Obama, but really, it’s getting old. Then again, Americans are tired of Obama’s whining about Bush too, so keep it up!!
This is yet ANOTHER lie from Obama. Nothing to see here, folks, keep moving.

What a coward our president is. He just managed to vote “present” on Afghanistan.
